“My collegiate years were a formative time in my life. I got my first taste of ministry in college as I interned at the McNeese BCM in Lake Charles. In college, I met my wife, Morgan, and she is the best ministry partner and friend I could have. Little did I know the Lord was using my college years and my opportunities with college students to mold a desire in my heart to reach this demographic.

In 2020, I began working as the Student Ministry Associate at Trinity Baptist Church in Lake Charles. Though I worked with middle school and high school students, my main focus was young adults. I am excited about joining the Calvary family and serving this church and community. I remember what life was like in college, and I am thankful that there were people in my life who were willing to challenge me and help me grow in my relationship with the Lord. I also remember the difficulties of transitioning out of college and finding a place to belong.

It is my desire to take this generation that is often overlooked, create a place for them to belong and connect, and fulfill the Great Commission by making disciples and teaching them to obey all that Christ has commanded.” – Andrew
