Missions

Jesus came to earth to bring about the kingdom of God. He commissioned his disciples to spread that message and make other disciples where they were and around the world. At Calvary, we continue this mission by telling the Good News of the kingdom in our own city and around the world. We also demonstrate the Good News by our good works and compassion for others.

Local ministry partners who reach those in need. We provide food for the hungry through the Manna House, Food Bank of Central Louisiana, and Central Louisiana Homeless Coalition. We minister to families who foster children through our Family Advocacy Ministry and partnership with Fostering Community. We have opportunities to serve expectant mothers and their children through the Cenla Pregnancy Center. There are many other opportunities to show the mercy of Jesus to the “least of these” through our local missions as we are continually finding new places to serve.
