Join us for a special Sunday as we celebrate the Christmas season with a joyful morning of music, fellowship, and worship, honoring the arrival of Jesus as our Savior. The festivities begin at 9:00am in the lobby with breakfast and family-friendly activities. At 10:30am, we will gather for inspiring Christmas music with our choir and orchestra, followed by a message from our Senior Pastor, Todd Strain. Make plans to join us—you won’t want to miss it!

world mission offering

Our World Missions Offering funds God’s work all over the globe. When you give to the World Missions Offering you are supporting missionaries internationally, state-side, and right here in Louisiana. Your gifts help train future ministers at our colleges and seminaries. You also provide opportunities for our own Calvary members to participate in missions internationally in a safe environment that can be a life-changing event! The money is distributed in January each year. 100% of your gifts go toward missions!

precepts: Study of John - Part 2

A 7 week study :: Begins Wednesday evenings, January 15 & Thursday mornings, January 16
The course will cover chapters 12-21 of the Gospel of John. (John Part 1 is NOT a pre-requisite,) Jesus draws His disciples aside to prepare them for what is to come. In chapters 12-21, you will see what the Bible says about Jesus' life, death, and resurrection and their significance to your salvation. You will be exploring the meaning of these passages in the context of Scripture, and hence, able to apply those truths to your personal life. These chapters will cover the last week of Jesus' life here on earth. What better way for you to prepare for this Easter season! This course is taught by Sheila Breazeale. women's Retreat

March 7-9, 2025
A focused time away to dig deeper into God's word and connect with other women in a safe, Biblical environment. This is a unique opportunity to disconnect and spend the weekend with our Lord and Savior! We invite our members and attenders to join us for this incredible experience, whether you have been before or not, but membership is not required, so invite a friend to come with you!

re|engage Spring 2025

January 8-April 9 :: Wednesdays, 6:00-7:30pm
Marriage comes with challenges, but it's worth it! Is communication a constant struggle? Do your conflicts seem to never feel resolved and resurface again and again? Do you feel hopeless in healing from relational hurts? You are not alone. Whether your marriage needs to be reignited, or is in need of a complete resurrection, a better marriage starts at re|engage!

Kingdom Weekend

January 17th – 19th, 2025
This fun and exciting weekend conference is designed for 6th-12th grade students to deepen their faith and build lasting relationships. (Students will not be staying in host homes during the weekend.)

Mom, Me & the B.I.B.L.E.

January 5 :: Noon-2:00pm :: Calvary Hall
This workshop is designed for Grades 4 and 5 Girls and their moms. The workshop provides mothers and daughters with helpful tools and insights into studying scripture.  A meal and take-home resources will be provided. Cost is $5 per person.

Grade 1 Bible Presentation

January 26 :: 3:00-4:00pm :: Chapel
Children in first grade will receive Bibles given in honor of Mrs. Colleen McCalmont. A short reception for the families will follow the program.

Deacon Ordination Service

Sunday, January 12 :: 6:00pm :: Chapel
We invite you to join us for a very special time as we ordain new members into our Deacon Ministry. We encourage everyone to come and witness this time of dedication and service. All ordained deacons and ministers—whether active or inactive—are invited to attend and participate in a special prayer of blessing over these men as they step into this important role of servantleadership. Let us come together as a church family to pray, encourage, and celebrate what God is doing in the lives of these faithful servants.
